Call for Pilot Schools: A Competency-Based Approach to Leadership Development and Resilience for Student Nurses

AACNis pleased to announce a call for pilot schools for a new initiative funded by Johnson & Johnson aimed at preparing baccalaureate nursing graduates to meet the competency expectations outlined in the AACNEssentials. AACNis seeking schools interested in piloting learning experiences that build skills in the areas of resilience, self-care, well-being, and leadership.

AACNis seeking 10 schools with entry-level baccalaureate nursing programs to implement and evaluate learning strategies and clinical experiences developed through this project in their curriculum. Selected schools will receive $10,000 in funding and technical assistance from AACNto implement the new learning and assessment strategies.
