On October 23, AACNwas notified of the passing of Barbara Jonas, co-founder of Jonas Philanthropies.

AACNextends heartfelt sympathies to Ms. Jonas' family, friends, and especially to her husband Donald Jonas. Mrs. Jonas was a true activist and advocate for nursing education.
