AACNJoins with Nursing Groups to Issue Statement on Immigration Policies

In response to the issue of immigrant children being separated from their parents at our nation's borders, AACNhas joined with the Nursing Community Coalition to send a below to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security requesting immediate action be taken to address this healthcare concern. AACNand 32 additional national nursing organizations鈥攔epresenting a cross-section of nursing education, research, practice, and regulation鈥攔emain concerned that this policy is detrimental to the health of immigrant children.
